Fun facts

Did you know the Ceropegia Woodii Variegata, often called the String of Hearts, was originally discovered by John Medley Wood in 1881? Despite its delicate look, this plant is surprisingly robust and can withstand a bit of neglect, making it a favourite among busy plant lovers. It’s not uncommon for this beauty to be passed down through generations due to its hardy nature. When exposed to ample sunlight, the leaves take on a beautiful pinkish hue, adding another layer of interest to its already captivating appearance. In some cultures, it's believed to bring good luck in love due to its heart-shaped leaves. Whether or not you’re a believer in plant myths, it’s hard to deny the charming presence and uplifting vibe this plant brings to any room!

Signs of weakness

Is your Ceropegia looking droopy or losing its colour? It might be thirsty! Yellowing leaves can hint at too much water, while shrivelled ones need a drink.
