In general, Philodendron Splendid is a low-maintenance plant.
It requires moderate exposure to indirect light, regular but not excessive watering, and a constant warm temperature.
It is also resistant to many common houseplant pests.
Signs of weakness
Drooping or wilted leaves: this is a clear sign that something is affecting the plant. It can be the result of underwatering, overwatering, lack of nutrients, inadequate light or sudden changes in temperature.
Yellowing leaves: this can be caused by overwatering, lack of light, lack of nutrients or even pest infestation.
Loss of stiffness in the stems: this is a sign that the plant is not receiving enough water or is suffering from inadequate watering.
