Flower fertiliser nails

How to use:
  • Moisten the substrate of your plant with a watering can.
  • at a safe distance from the stem of the plant, use your fingers to bury the compost nail in the substrate about 2 centimetres from the surface.
  • Water your plant once the clove has been inserted and maintain a weekly watering pattern. Each time you water the compost spike it will release nutrients into the substrate for the root to feed on.
  • It is recommended to renew the cloves every 3 months.
  • The best time to use this compost is in spring and summer.
  • Top tip: regularly cut off faded flowers to encourage new flowering.
