Primula is a genus of plants from the primulaceae family. It is a seasonal flower that can be found in a wide variety of colours and is ideal for decorating our window boxes during the spring season. It starts flowering at the end of winter and will last until the warm weather arrives, well into spring.

- Not suitable for pets.
Care
- Light: it is recommended to place them in a fresh and luminous place, avoiding the direct sun. This way, the flowering will be slower and, also, durable.
- Watering: moderate. Always maintain a certain humidity in the soil. Good drainage is essential so that water does not accumulate in excess. If this were to happen, it would rot around the neck.
- Moisture: likes to feel cool.
- Top tip: they are considered outdoor plants and prefer to be placed away from heat sources and in well-lit places; they could be used as an indoor plant but their flowering would be affected by high temperatures and lack of direct light, thus causing the flowering to last much less than the time established for this species.
