Indirect light

Adapts to any light level.

Frequent watering

Water once or twice a week in summer and once a week in winter. Check that the substrate is a little dry before watering again. Expect to water more often in bright light conditions and less often in low light conditions.

Not suitable for pets

This plant can be toxic for your pet, so we advise you not to keep them together.

Normal humidity

Any kind of humidity is fine, you can spray it every 2 weeks.

Advice

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or strong draughts, as this causes leaf spotting.
It needs plenty of indirect light and sufficient humidity.
It will love to be fed with liquid fertiliser once a month in spring and summer.

Signs of weakness

Withered leaves and stem, dry potting mix: thirsty plant, under-watered.
Yellowing leaves and blackened soft base: root rot, overwatering.
