Direct light

Prefers direct exposure to sunlight.

Frequent watering

Water once or twice a week in summer and once a week in winter. Check that the substrate is a little dry before watering again. Expect to water more often in bright light conditions and less often in low light conditions.

Normal humidity

Any kind of humidity is fine, you can spray it every 2 weeks.

Not suitable for pets

This plant can be toxic for your pet, so we advise you not to keep them together.

Advice

This plant is happy in semi-shade, but will grow best in plenty of indirect light. It is virtually indestructible unless it is exposed to sunlight or dries out.

Signs of weakness

Yellowish leaves: too much direct sunlight
New flowers are green instead of red or pink: too much sunlight
Flowers turn pale green: underwatering or temperature stress
Elongation of leaves: not enough light, or too far away from light source
