Advice

  • If you want to plant it in a garden, we recommend that you wait until spring.
  • when transplanting, use an acid substrate.
  • Light pruning at the end of flowering, without removing old shoots.
  • Water in case of prolonged drought or heat waves.
  • Add special heather fertiliser in spring.

Signs of weakness

  • Soft leaves or black stems: over-watering
  • Shrivelled leaves, dry potting mix: thirsty plant, under-watering
  • Flower drop: temperature fluctuations, cold draughts or roots drying out or becoming waterlogged
