Advice

  • Too much water can cause it to rot.
  • direct sunlight can burn it, but it is good if it receives many hours of light. Wipe its leaves with a dry cloth to help it photosynthesise
  • Choose a pot with drainage
  • Plant it in the right substrate
  • Fertilise it in summer

Signs of weakness

  • Drooping leaves - The most common reason is watering problems. Too much water can cause leaves to swell, become soft and mushy and eventually fall off.
  • Yellow leaves - Both overwatering and underwatering can cause leaves to turn yellow.
  • Brown leaves or dark spots on the leaves - The most common reason for brown or dark spots on the leaves on your succulents is sun damage or sunburn.
