Gasteria Flow

Advice

  • Location: Place the Gasteria Flow in bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, especially in summer.
  • Watering: Allow the substrate to dry out completely between waterings. Water less in winter when the plant is dormant.
  • Soil: Use a well-drained substrate designed for succulents and cacti to avoid waterlogging of the roots.
  • Temperature: Prefer temperatures between 18°C and 24°C during the day and between 10°C and 15°C at night.
  • Fertilisation: Feed the plant with a diluted balanced fertiliser once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).

Signs of weakness

  • Wilted or wrinkled leaves: May indicate lack of water or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Yellow or brown leaves: Could be a sign of overwatering or water stress.
  • Loss of lower leaves: Indicates lack of adequate light or root problems.
  • Leaf spotting or discolouration: May be caused by sunburn or fungal diseases.
