Advice

• Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, as its leaves could burn. It also does not like draughts or soil that is too waterlogged due to over-watering
• Like most patterned plants, it needs plenty of light to look its best, but avoid direct sunlight, which can fade it.
• A monthly feeding with liquid fertiliser in spring and summer will also be appreciated.

Signs of weakness

• Curled leaves, brown tips: not enough moisture
• Faded colouring or brown spots on leaves: too much direct sunlight
• Yellowing leaves, rotting stems: overwatering
