Advice

  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or strong draughts, as this causes leaf spotting.
  • It needs plenty of indirect light and sufficient humidity.
  • It will love to be fed with liquid fertiliser once a month in spring and summer.

Signs of weakness

  • Withered leaves and stem, dry potting mix: thirsty plant, under-watered.
  • Yellowing leaves and blackened soft base: root rot, overwatering.
