The Cove hates to be exposed to direct sunlight.

Signs of weakness

Discolouration or burning of the leaf tip:
too much direct light

Soft stems and yellowing leaves, wet soil:
excessive watering.

Dead flowers:
end of current flowering cycle. Cut off the dead foliage and let the plant go dormant for two months. Then place in bright light and water normally to help restart the flowering cycle. If you don't mind if your Cala does not re-bloom, continue with normal care.
