Tips for growing Cilantro successfully:

• Cilantro is a fragile plant with flexible stems, so avoid handling it too much to prevent it from toppling over.
• Wait 3-4 weeks before harvesting (approx. 15 cm high).
• Cut off the oldest outer stems, leaving the heart intact. Avoid cutting only the leaves, leaving the stem, as this reduces growth. Never harvest more than a third of the plant.
• Coriander has a short cycle and can flower quickly. The appearance of a large, stiff stem means it will produce seeds. Cut this stem to preserve flavour and leaf production.
