Direct sun can damage some plants, especially indoor plants, which are usually native to tropical forests and jungles, where they are protected by large trees that cover them from the rays of inclement sunlight but let light through.
You must be somewhat careful during the summer months, because due to the location of planet earth the sun's rays have a vertical impact, so they are much more intense and can damage your plants. You should also know that at midday the sun is much stronger. The position of the windows should also be monitored, because in Spain, due to their location, south-facing windows are usually much brighter.
