From palms and roses to culinary herbs and conifers, whenever you have the time, explore ways of propagating and reproducing plants, learning how to exploit them with various techniques. We recommend, for example, starting with the most effective: using cuttings. This method is very simple: you can take the stems, shoots, branches or, in some cases, the leaves of your favourite plants and plant them directly into the soil or stimulate their root growth in water. You will feel like an expert gardener, just by knowing these 3 simple tricks!

To begin with, always choose the healthiest and most sprouting twig, leaving only 2 or 3 leaves. Then, remember to make a clean cut and get at least 10 cm of branch. Finally, plant it in a pot with compost and, if you want, add a special fertiliser to stimulate rooting.

Another popular technique is propagation by division. To do this, simply remove the plant you want to propagate from its pot and divide the stems with their roots and then plant each section in a pot with a well moistened and aerated substrate.
